Lara Croft: Relic Run Review

Relic-Run-Review-Featured-ImageLara Croft: Relic Run is the newest mobile release from Square Enix! Relic Run is basically the “Crofty” version of Temple run. It’s gameplay offers fluid parkour and acrobatic elements. What differentiates this app from other Temple Run clones is the gunplay and vehicles that tie in with the free running mechanics. Boss fights are also a big set-piece in traveling intervals. There are a slew of cool bosses to slay during your runs, including the return of the infamous T-Rex! I got my hands on the game for a bit and I have to say that I’m quite pleased with the iconic temple run inspired Croft venture!

In the beginning hours of Relic Run, the game tends to feel a bit deprived and tiresome. However, like Temple Run, the more time you invest into upgrading, collecting and unlocking new tidbits, the game definitely starts to open up. From upgrading your weapons and power-up drops, the game urges you to collect as much that is required to unlock new maps and frisky new outfits. Each outfit has it’s own set of advantages and perks. Unlike Temple Run’s lighthearted feel, Relic Run is a game that requires a bit more concentration, with worlds that feel dangerous and exciting with each new set of traps presented in the many different maps.

The game has officially launched in the US for iOS and Android devices!
Relic Run is a premium mobile app, and is tailored to run on newer mainstream devices. Below is a brief list of compatible software and mobile devices.
